Title:
An Introduction to Transgender Awareness.

Aims and Objectives:
First and foremost to raise Transgender Awareness, by providing as much appropriate information available to assist private individuals or personnel at all levels, in all sectors to gain a better understanding of Transgender issues.
                              
The main focus will be on the following issues:

-  Transgender Status.
-  Personal Identity.
-  Gender reassignment as in The Equality Act 2010.
-  Issues faced by the Transgender Community.

Provision will be made during the training session for questions to be asked.

Programme:  After Registration, Refreshments and Housekeeping the session
as follows:

-   Facilitators welcome and introduction.
-   Definitions, Personal Identity, Gender Dysphoria & Transition.
-   Information with regard to the Key Issues of those who identify as Transgender .
    in  Cornwall and the South West: Quality of life, NHS experience, ageing, 
    awareness and respect.

Half hour comfort break and refreshments.

After the break delegates will reconvene and the session will continue with:

-  My Life's Work: Kaz Neumann - Why I am who I am and what my mission is.
-  Questions.
-  Signposting.
-  Round up and close.

Running time of session: minimum 3 hours (Excluding Breaks.)

Fees and terms: Negotiable, payable to CTSAR/Cornwall Transgender Support and
                            Resource.

ALL proceeds go towards the running costs and service provision of CTSAR/Cornwall Transgender Support and Resource, which is a strictly Non-Profit Organisation.
